GREED TAX PROPOSAL
by Tom Lineaweaver
by Tom Lineaweaver
I've mentioned this several times, and now I'm ready to publish it.
INCOME TAX
First, I want to repeal and replace the Sixteenth Amendment, which states, "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
The Amendment to repeal and replace the Sixteenth Amendment should say...
Section 1. The Sixteenth Amendment to this Constitution for the United States of America, upon ratification of this Amendment shall be null and void.
Section 2. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes no less than one million dollars per year. This tax shall be uniform throughout the United States of America, and shall not be graduated.
Section 3. Congress shall have the power to enforce this Amendment by appropriate legislation.
Section 2. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes no less than one million dollars per year. This tax shall be uniform throughout the United States of America, and shall not be graduated.
Section 3. Congress shall have the power to enforce this Amendment by appropriate legislation.
That's rather plain. The only people that can be charged an income tax are those earning $1,000,000 or more annually. So I will move on.
PROFIT TAX
I propose a 10% tax on profits of $1,000,000 or more per year. A profit is what is left over after all overhead charges are paid for. If a business has $1,000,000 left over after all other fees and charges are paid, I would consider that a big business.
EMPTY COMMODITY CHARGE AND FEE TAX
This tax is already explained here: line2016.freeforums.net/thread/292/rescue-america-ultimate-tax-plan
CONCLUSION
Well there you have it, my proposal for taxes on greed. Coupled with Rescue America Ultimate Tax Plan (linked above) there should be enough revenue for the Federal Government to fulfill its Constitutional duties.
Basically, I want our current tax code to be totally repealed and replaced. Our current tax code is burdensome to people of lesser means, and small business. I want to give those people a break.
My tax plans along with my spending plan, plan to rebuild America's manufacturing base, other job plans, and currency plans should fix the economy.
The premise for my economic plans is to get Government out of the way so people can do for themselves what they should be doing for themselves. I want the poor to get a job and get richer, not needing Government handouts which should be eliminated in time. Any safety net still needed should be provided by the States and the Churches, not the Federal Government.
Congress may enact my proposals anytime they want. And when I am President, I will urge them too.
LET US RESCUE THE ECONOMY TOGETHER
