For along time I have been concerned about the direction the United States of America is heading. The direction is toward total collapse. But what to do about it, that is the question.
As you may know I have been wanting to be the President of the United States. But, to be honest, that is not very likely, is it? I would need a lot of help, which I don't have. I would also need a lot of money, which is also something I don't have. While I have not totally given up on the idea, it sure doesn't seem likely.
But, there is another direction I can go, and I have been struggling about which way to go, ever since the election of Donald Trump. Biblically speaking, the man is evil. Can there be any doubt he has the love of money, is turned on by what he sees and what he feels, (lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh), and he sure is prideful about his life. According to the Bible, he is evil.
That brings up a problem. Why have so many people that call themselves "Christian" support him. There was Jerry Falwell Jr., John Hagee, and others. This tells me there is a serious problem with the church in the United States of America. The leaders said to vote for the guy, and the followers did. I got the idea that if the devil was a Republican running against Hillary Clinton, they would have voted for him.
The church is in really bad shape in this Country.
This is not the first time I had a struggle about which direction to go in. I do have the belief that if the church would repent and turn from its wicked ways, God will heal our land. So, should I work on fixing the church, or do I work on fixing the Government? Keep in mind, I do believe if the church did follow the intructions in 2nd Chronicles 7.14, America would be healed, and that would include the Government.
It seems to me that I have been predestined to work on fixing the church. And that is based on the way I raised. Take a look at this... line2016.freeforums.net/thread/347/roots-raising
You can see about me here... line2016.freeforums.net/thread/143/autobiography In that article, I say, "On my 7th birthday, my parents gave me a Bible. That's 54 years ago, and I still have it." I have studied the Bible ever since. I have more than 30 different translations, various books to aid in studying the Bible. Been to college for short time. Took many different classes in churches and schools of the Bible. Took several correspondence courses. And, listen to this. When I lived in Palmyra, Pa. with my aunt, uncle an cousins, the School District there had release time where we would go to a nearby church to receive religious training. It's the only time I had a perfect report card. It sure seemed religion would play a big role in my life, and it sure has.
But, you see, I was never shackled by man-made dogma. The fact is, if man preaches and teaches something that's not in the Bible, you know it's false. And there is a lot of false teaching in churches today, so much so, members are being led to the slaughter.
America is perishing and needs to be rescued, and I am close to deciding to focusing on getting the church to repent and turn from its wicked, then America will be rescued.
What do you think?
Perhaps it is time to Rescue The Perishing of America.
