Hope you read that article.
There is only one person in the United States that can order any part of the military to "stand down," and that's the President. You might say the Secretary of Defense. I suppose Donald Rumsfeld could have, but not without authorization from the President, who at the time was George W. Bush. Like it or not, the President as Commander in Chief is reponsible for successes and failures of the military. So who was in control on 911?
Dick Cheney? I don't think so. He may have given the orders that day, but the Vice President is still under the authority of the President. And, if he did indeed give that order, resulting in the death of thousands, why wasn't held accountable? Was George W. Bush asleep for the 8 years of his Administration? It's obvious Bush was a part of what happened on 911.
A new investigation into 911 would reveal what our Government was doing, and the immediate responses to the 911 attacks.
My fellow Americans, you need to demand a new 911 investigation....
