THE LAND OF ISRAEL

If you've seen and read what I've posted about Israel, you might wonder if I am anti-Israel. I recently answered that question by saying I'm not anti-anyone, I'm pro-American. And from a pure political point of view, that is the case. And when I am President I will deal with Israel from a political point of view.
From a Biblical point of view, I don't believe Israel has the right to exist. The belief that Israel are God's chosen people is based on a misunderstanding of the Abrahamic Covenant. It was in that Covenant that all the promises, including the land, were given to the seed of Abraham. In Galatians chapter 3 the Apostle Paul made it plain that the seed of Abraham is Christ. Therefore, the belief that Israel are God's chosen people is not true, and denies Christ.
Today, to be God's chosen people you must be in Christ. The New Testament writers were plain about that. Since the cross we have been under the covenant of Christ. It is that covenant that Christ shed his blood to inaugurate. And, as of the writing of the book of Hebrews, the Old Covenant that was established when God gave it to Moses to give to the people of Israel, was on the way out. When God destroyed the temple through the Roman army in 70 AD, he ended his covenantal relationship with Israel. In other words, he divorced them. And, the plan of God to deliver all the promises to Christ has been carried out.
So, if that land belongs to anyone, it belongs to all those that are in Christ. And there are very few of them in this world. If all the people in this world who claim to be Christians were in Christ, this would be a much better world.
Now back to the political realities of today. It's obvious we can't change or fix history. But, we can make a better future. How do we that? At the risk of being attacked by Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity, or the rest of those conservative talkers, calling me a flaming liberal, I am in favor of a two State solution. There would be a Northern and Southern kingdom, one called Palestine, and the other called Israel. However, to be Biblically correct, we would eliminate Israel completely, and hand the land over to a Christian controlled Palestine. But, that might not be politically feasible. So the best solution for now is the two State solution.
In the so called Presidential field, the only other person that might agree with this is Hilary Clinton. I think Hilary is a very intelligent person. And that is why conservatives are going all out to destroy her. At the same time I would never vote for her. And there are two major reasons why. 1. She's a Democrat. 2. She comes with too much baggage that could affect her Administration. So, the Democrats would be wise to find someone else to nominate as their Presidential candidate.
I hope this clears up any questions there are about my policy regarding the land of Israel.
If you agree...
