CONSTITUTION CONSERVATIVE FACEBOOK GROUP BANNED ME
by Tom Lineaweaver
by Tom Lineaweaver
Just want you to know, this is not a Facebook problem. Certain members attacked me because I dared put the Constitution ahead of Trump, who hasn't done one Constitutional thing since he's been in office.
First, I posted this....
That didn't do to badly. They were nice about it. Some even liked it. Maybe the description below explains why.
But, then I posted this...
That is where everything went badly. It's impossible to be a Constitutional Democrat. Then the language. I blocked one person because of their language. It seems there are those that can't get their point across without vulgarity.
I wrote the following to explain myself.
DESCRIPTION
"This is a pro Constitutional Conservative group that was built around those of us who voted for Evan McMullin against Trump and Hillary. We came from many places: Cruz Supporters, Rubio supporters, Rand Paul and others. Evan gave us someone with values we could vote for when no one else would step up. Promoting other Constitutional Conservatives is fine, and even encouraged. Trashing any fellow Constitutional Conservative is NOT. This does not mean we cannot debate policy differences. However, our focus should be uniting with a common voice on the values we all share in common, and make sure our new government moves in Constitutional Conservative direction. No promotion of Alt-Reich politicians or ideas! If you agree with all of that, you're in the right place! Welcome!" ----
I read this when I joined. I am a Constitutional Conservative, and I'm a Democrat. Why am I Democrat? You can see why here... line2016.freeforums.net/thread/563/democrat
In the election I voted for Darrell Castle. I thought he was the best candidate. I knew nothing about Evan. I have since checked out Evan McMullin. He would have been a good choice. Perhaps he'd like to be my running mate in 2020.
One thing the 2016 election has showed me is that you can not win elections unless you are Republican or Democrat. It's a shame the American people are not ready for another party, or an independent. And there are many reasons for that. They keep listening to the lies of the media and Conservative talk radio.
To ever have a pro-Constitution President, we will have to infiltrate one of the major parties. I chose to become Democrat because the Democratic Party has a rich Constitutional heritage. Far more than the Republican Party.
We have had two major views of governance in this Country since its founding. The Jeffersonian view, which elevated people above government. The Hamiltonian view which favored a strong central government. The Jefferson party was called Democratic-Republican Party. Jefferson was often called a Republican. Soon, the "Republican" was dropped from the name, and that is how the Democratic Party was created.
Hamilton's party was the Federalist Party. They believed in centralized everything. Centralized government, centralized banks. They had a central bank for a while. You can see more about that here... www.let.rug.nl/usa/essays/general/a-brief-history-of-central-banking/central-banking-in-the-united-states.php
Eventually the Central Bank came to an end. Nevertheless it was there. Of course, now we have the Federal Reserve, and all the fears of those that opposed the Central Bank came true.
It was the Democrats that opposed the the Central Bank. The Federalist were its proponent.
The Federalist Party eventually came to an end because the Jeffersonian Party became dominant because they believed in people, not government or the banks.
The Federalist Party eventually had a split, and some went to the new Whig Party. You can read about that here... www.history.com/topics/federalist-party and here... www.history.com/topics/whig-party
The Republican Party was formed by former members of the Whig Party. See about that here... www.history.com/this-day-in-history/republican-party-founded
Why is that important? If you have followed along, you will know that the Republican Party was formed by people who believed in the Hamiltonian view of governance. And I haven't seen any changes.
The first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, was the first President since the Constitution was ratified to print paper money in strict violation of the Constitution. And the way the Southern States were treated was an affront to the 10th Amendment.
It is my opinion the Republican Party never believed in the Constitution from its very formation. So I am a Democrat that believes in the Constitution.

I wrote this to explain to these people where I was coming from. Not long ago, I wanted to see if there was a response. But, the group was missing from my list of groups. I searched for it to no avail. That must mean I'm banned. It's a good thing I copied and pasted what I wrote, or it would have been lost. And there is good information at the links in the article.
My opinions about Trump wasn't the only problem. Someone mentioned Ted Cruz. I replied by saying he isn't even a citizen. The person, probably a Cruz supporter, tore into me about that. Then I asked when he became a U.S. Citizen. No reply.
Do you see what the problem is in America? There are people who claim to be Constitutional conservatives, but when they encounter someone who really is, they can't handle it. Especially Trump supporters.
All the more reason too...
