FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FOR SNOW REMOVAL

Article: 9523.1 Snow Assistance Policy
Why do we even have such a policy? What this shows is that the Federal Government is way too large. The Federal Government was not intended to things for the States that the States could and should do for themselves. Take a look at the Tenth Amendment. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." I see nowhere in the Constitution that grants the United States Government the power to remove snow. Therefore that power is reserved to the States, or to the people.
It is policies like this that causes a bloated budget, and a huge National Debt. The Federal Government has no business doing anything for States that they have no Constitutional power to do so. That gravy train must end.
This will cut the power of the Senators and Representatives to take money from Texas taxpayers to give it to their constituents in other States. The United States is a Union of States, and they should be limited to providing services for the entire Union, not for individual States. But, I am sure several States will soon, if they haven't already, apply for funds from the Federal Government to help fray the cost of snow removal. But, local municipalities can also apply for those funds. This recent snowstorm will undoubtedly cost the American taxpayers billions of dollars.
In a few days, I fully expect to hear President Obama declare New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and others as Federal Disaster Areas, which then allow for Federal money to flow to those States. It will make President Obama look good doing the wrong thing. Fox News might not even complain about it. But those who understand the Constitution sure should.
We simply must get back the Constitution in regards to the Economy. See the article here: line2016.freeforums.net/thread/258/constitutional-economics This is the only way, I believe, to save our economy, getting the United States back to the Constitution, economically.
If you agree, please...
