SPEAKING FOR THE POOR

Comcast proved to me today (8-27-15) they don't care about the poor. Let me set this up.
I had Verizon for internet. It was horrible. They refused to make it better. So, I went to Comcast. Had a reasonably priced package. It was a double play package. One day, one of their sales people suggested a triple play package for just a few dollars more. Sounded good so I said okay. The next bill I got was horrifying. Over $300. They sent a prorated bill that include what had already used, plus the month I was in, and a month in advance, and other fees that I don't remember what they were. Well, there was no way I could pay it. So I paid every month what I could. And I also went to the double play package I did have. But that didn't erase the bill. Then it became a back bill. And they just added to it with late fees, and other fees. This morning, I found I had no internet. And no TV. Comcast billing practices are horrendous. They never consider the many people that are struggling to pay their bill. And they say "Comcast Cares." Comcast is not the only one. Electric, phone, cable, etc. None of them care about the poor.
Some will say that cable is not necessary. That it's not a utility. Okay, fine. But, what about the electric bill. Have you seen that lately? Phone bills aren't too far behind. None of them care about people, Rescue America does care about poor people.
Our economic plans are based on helping the poor. But, they're not handouts which is the liberal way of helping the poor. But, let's face it, those handouts aren't worth much. That's one reason there is so much fraud. What we want to do is get Government out of the way so everyone has the same opportunity to succeed. We don't have that. You need a Government permit to have a lemonade stand. That's just plain ridiculous. We have to get Government off the backs of people so people can take care of themselves.
This is the point. Government has made having a business so complicated you practically have to be wealthy to have one. That has to change. And it will change when the Rescue America agenda is reality, at least at the Federal level. If you have apples to sell, you shouldn't have to get the Government's permission to sell them. You should be able to build a chair in your basement and take it outside and sell it without Government interference.
Our Government along with big corporations has built an economic prison. It's time to let people out of that prison. You tell me, how many politicians are saying anything like that? I haven't heard any. Making the economy better means making it better for all the people, not just the wealthy and the so called middle class. By the way, politicians often talk about helping the middle class. Are they doing it? What I see, rich are getting richer, poor are getting poorer, and the middle class is going away. Henry Ford is probably rolling over in his grave. Maybe in a Model T.
Poor people need help in this Country, and Rescue America will help them when our agenda is enacted.
