CONSTITUTION, DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND THE BIBLE

I have been campaigning on the internet for about three years.
And I will be 60 soon. In my life I've seen many changes. Technology has improved, but people have not. In my youth, most people had at least a modicum of morality. Today, it's the opposite. Very few people have any morality. In my youth people respected the institution of marriage. Not today. Marriage has become something you can get in and out of on a whim. And we don't even need to be married to have sexual relations and raise a bunch of children without one of the parents in the home. This lack of respect for the institution of marriage has caused the Government allowance of same sex marriage. Obviously, it doesn't matter what the Bible says.
What about the Constitution? Today we have a man in the White House that is not a natural born citizen, and the Republican Party has allowed two candidates for President that are not natural born citizens. Doesn't matter what the Constitution says, does it?
Now comes Donald Trump. It's obvious he doesn't care about the Constitution. I recently had a discussion with a Trump supporter. They claimed that Constitution says we need to secure the border. I asked where the Constitution says that. She called me stupid and said I should read the Constitution. She never answered my question. Back at our founding, States, who were free and independent for about seventy years. Back then the States protected their own borders.
What about the Declaration of Independence? It is the founding document of our Country. While it is not a legal document in that sense, it does show the principles our Country was founded on. Based on that document, I believe the founders would have abolished this Government a long time ago. And while there is a smattering of people that believe that, most Americans probably have never read, or heard the Declaration of Independence read. Same is true about the Constitution.
The United States of America has become a decadent nation since the founding, both politically and morally, and very few seem to care. But I care. And if you care...
