FREE EXERCISE THEREOF
by Tom Lineaweaver
by Tom Lineaweaver
The first couple clauses of the First Amendment reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
As President I fully intend to freely exercise religion from the dictates of my conscience. I haven't originally intended to be very public, but I do now. The reason for this change in attitude is what happened to Kim Davis. I have intended to keep my religious exercises within the confines of the White House. Not anymore. This nation is suffering from a severe lack of morality and religious intolerance toward professing Christians that practice their faith in their homes and in their place of business, and in public offices. This disturbs me greatly
It's time we have a President that shows respect toward Christianity, however not a specific brand of Christianity, but Christianity in general, just as our founding Presidents have. For example, our first President said, “It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.” – George Washington
And what about our founding Congress....
Congress printed a Bible for America and said:
“The United States in Congress assembled … recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States … a neat edition of the Holy Scriptures for the use of schools.”
– United States Congress 1782
Congress passed this resolution:
“The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools.”

For those who claim the founders of this nation did not intend it to be a Christian nation, I believe they are sadly mistaken or uninformed, or both. By reading what our founding fathers said, and the actions of our founding Congress, I do not believe there can be any doubt the founders fully intended this to be a Christian nation.
Here are some quotes from our second President....
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God. – John Adams
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. – John Adams
I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world. – John Adams
The Christian religion is, above all the religions that ever prevailed or existed in ancient or modern times, the religion of wisdom, virtue, equity and humanity. – John Adams

And what did the first chief Justice of the Supreme Court have to say...
Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is their duty – as well as privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers. – John Jay
The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts. – John Jay

In Article VII of the Constitution, the date is given, "the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven." "Year of our Lord" is a reference to Jesus Christ.

As President, my mission is to Rescue America. That means, get the Government back to the Constitution, and get the rest of the nation back to the Bible, and specifically to Christ. I never want to ever hear again that a professing Christian has been put in jail for following their conscience and their religious beliefs. I never want to hear again that professing Christians had to close up their business because of a lawsuit because they were operating their business from a Christian perspective.
Our founders believed that lack of Biblically based morality leads to corruption. www.wallbuilders.com/libissuesarticles.asp?id=63
We have come a long way since the founding, a real long way. We went from Presidents and other Statesmen lauding Christianity and the Bible, to a Government that allows for abortion, same sex marriage, war for profit, and all because we have a Government that has turned its back on God. Well, "taking our Country back," must also mean returning it to Biblical principles. No restoration of America will ever be complete without it.
My plan is, when I have a radio address, to share a Scripture and speak of it, kinda like a devotional. I will open a White House prayer and counselling line with volunteers from local churches to pray with people and listen to them, and be of comfort and assurance. There are so many hurting people in this Country, and it's probably going to get worse before it gets better. People need to know there is someone who cares in the White House, and that he is doing all he can to make a better world.
Please, help me rescue America, the perishing.
LET US RESCUE AMERICA THE PERISHING TOGETHER
