PRETERIST APPROACH TO FOREIGN POLICY REGARDING ISRAEL
by Tom Lineaweaver
by Tom Lineaweaver
As a Preterist, we understand that the nation of Israel was destroyed by the Roman armies in the Jewish rebellion of 66-73 AD. We understand that true Israel is now in Christ. We understand that Christ and those that belong to Christ are the true seed of Abraham, that all the promises in the Abrahamic Covenant were to the seed of Abraham, which do not include the children of Israel (Jacob). We understand that Israel was chosen for a purpose, and that purpose was to bring Christ into the world. Once completed, Israel came to an appointed end. An end that was prophesied in both Old and New Testament.
For a long time our Foreign Policy regarding Israel has been based on the idea that Israel are still God's chosen people, eventhough no nation of Israel that God established existed since their destruction from 66-73 AD. So, our Foreign Policy regarding Israel has been based on lies and deceit.
As President, I will have a new Foreign Policy regarding Israel, and it will be based on truth. Since the current nation of Israel does not come from God, that true Israel is in Christ, I don't believe the current nation of Israel has the right to exist. Hence I agree with a one state solution, and that would be the State of Palestine.
I will seek a treaty with the new State of Palestine to allow Christian missionaries from the United States to come and openly teach Christ, while they help to rebuild the Country. We will keep a military presence in Palestine to protect them as they rebuild. That will be for two years. Then we will reassess to see if we need to be there for another two years. But, as soon as possible I want the new State of Palestine to be self sufficient. And we will do all we can to make that happen. We need to do that because the problems the Palestinians are having are our fault. We owe it to them.
If you agree...
