The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution establishes that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law, and as President I will enforce that right.
What does that mean? That means no more shutting down lemonade stands without due process of law. That means taking the lemonade stand owner to Court, with a jury of their peers. If the lemonade stand owner is 8 years old, it must be a jury of 8 year olds. A peer is "a person who has equal standing with another or others, as in rank, class, or age." www.thefreedictionary.com/peer And when that jury says the lemonade stand must be closed down, then and only then can it be shut down.
If any part of Government, whether Federal, State or Local violates this right of the people, they should be brought up on Federal charges for violating the Constitutional rights of a citizen, as per the Fourteenth Amendment. That Amendment says in part, "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge (limited) the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within it's jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
When a lemonade stand is shut down without due process of law, that violates the Fifth Amendment. And when a State, or any Government therein, shall make a law and enforce that law that allows for the limitation of the privilege of having a lemonade stand. that violates the Fourteenth Amendment.
So we have two Constitutional Amendments whereas shutting down a lemonade stand could violate. And when that happens, the President of the United States must enforce the Constitution, and I will do that.
This is not just about lemonade stands. It's about any Constitutional right of the people that is violated. The lemonade stand is just an example. Another good example is the right to bear arms. The Second Amendment states that, "the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." The word infringed means, "violated." www.thefreedictionary.com/infringed
So, confiscating the arms of any citizen violates the Second, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments. As President, I will enforce the right of the people to bear arms. That means all gun control laws are unconstitutional, and any State that makes or enforces laws that violate the Second Amendment, unless by due process of law, they should be brought up on Federal charges. No State has the right to violate the U.S. Constitution.
Today, we do not have a Congress, a President or a Supreme Court that protects the Constitutional rights of the people. That has to change. It will change when I am President of the United States.
